Calorie/Protein Advice?
I was wondering if you all had any ideas on getting enough protein and calories in a day through an 85% vegetarian diet? (I know, 85% sounds weird... I probably eat meat/seafood once to twice a week, if that.)
I'm in my late 20's, currently weigh 128 (goal of 130 - 135 lbs) and work-out (strength/weight training) vigorously 4 - 5x per week. Based on My Fitness Pal and My Plate, I'm supposed to be getting over 2000 calories and 170 grams of protein! I'm not coming in anywhere near that! I eat very healthy (not perfect), but generally speaking.
Any ideas?
