Hey ladies, first timer mommy here, almost 11 weeks and currently have a sinus infection. I went to the dr and he knows I'm pregnant, but he told me to take Tylenol cold and sinus and said it was safe. When I went to the pharmacy to pick up my nasal spray I grabbed it and asked the pharmacist just to make sure. She said complete opposite. Said the only Tylenol I can take is plain Tylenol and that the other tylenols that have a decongestant in it, has something in it that has been known to cut off blood circulation to the plancenta. So of course me being scared I said I'm not taking the chances of loosing my baby. On the paper my OBGYN gave me of what I can take, it said Tylenol cold and flu after my first trimester, which of course I can't because I'm still in my first trimester. I have used a Nettie pot and have been drinking tea and water, as well as a humidifier at night while leveling my pillow slightly up. Is there anything else I can do? I feel the infection starting in my chest, and I get bronchitis pretty easily. Anyone else have this issue? What did you do?
