Bladder lump??! 😱

Good morning ladies,

So I woke up this morning (so mad I didn't take pics I had to pee REALLY bad) and I had this hard lump on the left side of my belly. I was laying flat on my back and it was literally poking out. I pushed on it slightly and it made me want to pee immediately.

Have you ladies ever experienced that?

What is it?

Answer

That's your baby/uterus.
Your uterus is located above your bladder. When you bladder is very full, it pushes your uterus up. So pushing on your uterus puts pressure on your bladder and that's why you had to pee. Once you pee your bladder shrinks and baby and uterus fall back down.
It's one of the reasons they make you drink water before an ultrasound.
