Would an iui be done with less than 2mil count ?

We did IUI #1 with 3.2 million, IUI #2 with 1.2 million and IUI#3 with 320,000.

My husband has low count to begin with and has never had a count over 4 million-i think it depends on you situation

My Dr said that she has success with a couple where the count was under 1000 (he had testicular cancer- thus the low count)

For IUI #3 we were given the option to continue with it or wait, but I had figured I had already paid for all the meds and the procedure (out of pocket) so we were going for it. We went home and BD later just to give a boost to chances
My TWW ends Monday and I'm really trying to wait to test

My doctor said at least 5 mil nothing less. My iui worked with 7mil so really all it takes is one.

My RE said anything over 10 million is a go. Washed sperm only live 24 hours so I don't know if that has anything to do with the amount they require.

I think it depends on the doctor. I know my doctor liked at least 17mil for iui. I don't know if they would have cancelled if it was that low, though. Its really more your choice than the doctors, you are paying for it. It only takes 1 sperm.
