Abandoned baby birds?

A few weeks ago when my dad went to trim the bushes he discovered some eggs(they hatched two days ago)! Since the bushes are right next to our door mama bird would always fly away whenever we would leave or come back. However I haven't really seen her around lately. So I was wondering if she abandoned them because she felt it wasn't safe? And if she doesn't come back within the next few days is there anyone I can call to help them?
