heart rate?

So I had my first US and the put me at 8weeks 6days. Baby's heart rate was 188. I know normal range is 140-180. This is my fifth and with the last ones I remember the heart rate being around 150. Is a high heart rate something that I should be concerned about?

I had an ultrasound at 8w1d and heart rate was 180. I was worried too but the tech said it's not unusual for it to be a little on the higher side that early.  They're much more worried if it too low as it can be an indicator of the baby's health.  
Just for fun - heart rate of 180 and I'm having a boy!  Thought for sure based on the old wives tale of higher heart rate it would be a girl!
