is this normal

Today at around 10:30am I got a CT scan of my abdomen. They gave me something to drink as well as an IV first with a shot of saline solution into my blood stream and then after about an hour they shot a large amount of dye into my blood stream. I felt fine at first, maybe a little restless and nauseas and that warming sensation but then it went away. I went on with my day, feeling a little tired but not bad. I made dinner and by the time I started cooking I started to not feel very well. I was shaky and nauseas. I pulled up at work at 5:50pm and all of a sudden I started to feel like I was going to throw up and I was shaking uncontrollably. During my entire 3.5 hour shift I was constantly going up to the bathroom to throw up. I'm starting to feel a bit better now but still feel quite nauseas and tired. Is it normal to get sick after a CT scan ?
