Put a gauze pad with Vaseline on his penis.

Put Vaseline on it. It makes it "waterproof" and keeps the urine from bothering him and will also keep the skin soft. Apply it after every diaper change.

My instructions say specifically not to use soap on the penis, but that if he has a bath to just rinse well.
And to put a big glob of A&D on his penis or diaper where it touches the penis, so the diaper doesn't stick to his sensitive little parts while it's healing.
