someone please?!

Ok. So I am almost 8 months pp.  We are not trying at all, and we're waiting until 2018 for number two. Well we used the pull out method (I know, not smart!). So I am testing just to find out if it worked. It was June 14, our three year wedding anniversary. Can anyone tell me the test is negative?! I did not have to guess with my first since I tested day of missed period and it was super positive. I have yet to get my period after having my baby since I EBF. Thanks in advance.
