Frustration!! 😖😖
My husband and I have been ttc for over 2 years and are at the beginning of ivf (hubby has very low sperm count). I had every test under the sun and literally only issue with me that came back was that I had a 4cm dermoid cyst on my left ovary. Had that op to remove it on 9 June and feeling healed already!
Went back to fertility clinic this week hoping to get my meds prescription. Next period due mid-July (roughly 13-15th). Next fertility appt is 19 July, so after my next period is due. IVF specialist (who did my op) said as it won't have been 6 weeks since my op, I have to wait until my next appt to get meds...another months wait to start treatment (August)!! It's so frustrating!! Especially when I keep getting the classic "it's only another month!" from people!! 😖😢 I just want to get started already!
Anyone else had a long wait from first initial fertility appointment to starting meds? x
