Prometrium/Progesterone side effects?

I had two consecutive miscarriages within the year, found out couple weeks ago I'm pregnant again. Went in today for ultrasound, I'm 6w4d. Everything seems good so far 🎉 dr put me on progesterone/prometrium to be on the safe side. His office is closed now and I took it and I'm feeling super funky and weird 😳 like space cadet. Is this normal or anyone experience this?

Yes, I felt like a space cadet at first lol. My symptoms were extreme exhaustion. I normally had to nap for atleast an hour after taking it or didn't feel right. As long as I napped I felt more normal. And as your body gets more use to it, the effect lessens. And I am now 28 weeks with a successful twin pregnancy 😊 so it worked for me.

Yes extreme fatigue, dizziness, sleepiness, nausea, headaches.. pretty much the side effects were like exacerbated pregnancy symptoms. It'll get better though and it's so worth it.!

I took it at the beginning of this pregnancy and I was tired, nauseated, and constipated but the prometrium worked

lol I was the same way for about a week. I couldn't get out of bed. Also I wished they would have told me that I should wear a panty liner and it comes back out because having multiple miscarriages and going to restroom and seeing a red residue on your toilet paper can freak a girl out lol.

I take it and will be taking it until 12-13 weeks and i have no side effects at all.

I had to take Crinone (progesterone) for my last pregnancy. Unfortunately, I lost him in the 2nd trimester due to low implantation in my uterus. But I'm taking it again this time and it makes me superrrr sleepy and nauseous. I had severe hyperemesis last time, and I hope I don't get it again! But like the other person said, it's totally worth it and that's why I didn't hesitate to take the again 🌈❤️💙💜💚 Good luck!!
