I have a very bad irritating on my skin with bumps and itchiness It's it normal?

The doctor prescribed itching cream  , she said it looks like pots ? It's this common how can it go away it's taking over my body

This happened to one side of my tummy but I have very sensitive skin. I can't use fabric softener as well. But since being pregnant my skin has gotten more sensitive and a body wash started to irritate my skin and I had a bunch of red bumps on the left side of my tummy that itched. Changed body washes and also used Johnson baby wash on my belly to help and it went away with in 2 or 3 weeks.
