What's the difference?

What's the difference between bisexual and bicurious? Can you still be bisexual if you've never been with someone of the same sex?

I don't mean to offend or sound like I'm trying to label everything. I'm just in a confusing place right now. Thanks.

Im not an expert but i think Bisexual is the comformation that you like two genders. Bicurious is the curiosity and experementation of liking two genders. And in my opinion you can identify as bisexual even if you have not been with someone of the same gender. Im 15, so i may not be right. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

In my opinion you don't have to have had sex with both genders to be considered bisexual. Think of it this way - is a person straight curious when they are a virgin?

I think it's more of a spectrum. You are considered more bicurious when you've acknowledged an attraction to both genders but perhaps you aren't quite sure if you would be able to go through with an encounter with one of them or you would but aren't really sure if you'd actually be into it or just meeting a fantasy. When you have an attraction to both genders and are open to encounters with both without reservation you'd be considered more bisexual. And even then you can be bisexual and still be attracted to one gender more than the other.

And then there is heteroflexible where you aren't really attracted to the same sex but would still be open to a casual encounter.

What's the difference?
