Rock n play to crib

My baby is 11 weeks and we got the Merlin suit for him to sleep in at night to transfer over from the Rock and play to the crib and that has worked pretty well but his naps during the day he hates it he cries for 45 minutes and I tried to soothe him had him on the back tell him it's okay and that just pisses him off even more I feel like I'm torturing him but on the other hand when he goes to daycare he has to sleep in the crib I just feel so lost
