IUD Problems! help!!!!!

Guys! I have a problem. Well, I think I do. So I got the IUD in February and pretty recently, like within the past month, stopped bleeding/spotting and I just had my period but it lasted like 9 days (it was pretty light) but that's not supposed to happen. AND today I had spotting. I'm so annoyed. I'm going to make a gyno appointment as soon as they open but like ???? And I thought the string was lower than usual but I could just be scared. Is it safe to have sex or...?
