bumpers for cribs

So I need some advice. My baby is 3 months old and he has always moved so much in his crib. I will put him at the top of the crib and he'll be at the other end when we get up. He'll even turn a 180 and be in a different direction. His legs go through the bars and he hasn't done anything to hurt himself. But he is in the process of trying to roll over. I was told that when he does start then he'll hurt himself eventually. I don't know what to do, I then saw this product. I know they say no traditional bumpers because of suffocation. If you have any advice or have used this product then please let me know. I will talk to my pediatrician about what she thinks is best.
