My Best Friend Didn't Know My Daughters Name....

My daughter is turning one this month and I haven't seen my "best friend" since I was in the hospital giving birth (she lives an hour away). We kept in contact almost every month and never held it against each other that our lives are in different places. She's 25 and a pretty big party girl. Thats fine! That's just not my scene anymore. I've still always considered her my best friend. However, I talked to her today and she said that her mom and her were going to come to Charlottes birthday party and my heart sunk. My daughters name is Scarlett. I don't know why it made me so sad, but it really hit me. Maybe our friendship is more over than I realized. I wouldn't trade my life for the world, but I really miss my best friend.
