Anytime your spouse does wrong they deflect it straight on to you and all the mistakes u have made. Even going back years, things you have regretted and apologised for. Anything instead of acknolwedging their wrong doing and simply apologising. Hufffff

Completely unfair. I would say that when someone is faced with one of their flaws, it is a common reaction to try to take the focus off of themselves and place blame elsewhere at first. However, a smart person would look at themselves and eventually realize and address the situation at hand. And a fair person would understand that when someone brings up a concern, it is best to stay on topic and not go into the past. Those are manipulation tactics, whether conscious or subconscious, to try to take the focus off of their own flaws.
