how would you handle the father asking for a paternity test?

You have had a good relationship with your bf or husband and you find out you're pregnant whether from trying or not. You haven't had any problems with infidelity. once you tell him He seems excited but maybe a couple days later calmly asks for a text just to make sure. Are you mad or understanding that he wants to make sure the baby is his since he's going to be taking care of them for life? This can also go another way where there has been trouble with infidelity in the past, you know the babies his but he asks for one. What do you do? How do you feel?
