pineapple to jump start labor ?

Has anyone tried this ? I'd like to hear stories

I eat like a pineapple a day, the fresh ones. Not because I am trying to induce labor but because I crave it! All the time!! And I am still pregnant. 38.4 weeks so I don't think it does

I ate like 4 pineapples between 38/39 weeks when I was pregnant with our first. It did not induce labor :(

Ive been eating TONS of fresh pineapple throughout my entire pregnancy (because i like it) and nada. 36 weeks and he is snug as a bug.

I was blending 2/3 pineapples a day to try induce labour. Nothing no twinges anything. I did this for about 2 weeks starting by eating 1 pineapple a day. I have drunk raspberry leaf tea since 36 weeks. 2/3 cups a day. Now at due date I made a tea with 12 tea bags and nothing no twinges! I think baby really will come when they are ready. I have tried almost everything other than castor oil which I heard is dangerous! Pineapple and raspberry leaf tea are supposed to still be good for the cervix so no harm in eating and drinking them!

With my last baby I ate a whole pineapple and walked for 2 hours. I went into labour that night. X

Nope. Pineapple didnt work, only things that have given me contractions is sex and a sweep. Although they went away a few hours later they still got me to 3cm
