could this be my water?

I am 38 weeks 3 days. I was having awful contractions all last night but they wouldn't stay consistent and eventually went away, even though they had me in tears and nearly unable to breathe. This morning I went to eat breakfast with my husband and came home and this was in my panties... I've always heard that when your water breaks there may be white stuff in it bc of the vernix floating around in your sac. Was just curious as to if anyone else's looked like this, or if you guys think it may be my water? I'm monitoring it for another hour or so to see if it keeps leaking before I make any moves to the hospital or anything. But I would love some suggestions, advice or experience.
