If your bed sharing, how long do you plan to share?

We stopped at 7.5months. We loved it but I wasn't sleeping well. Also she's so mobile I started getting worried of falling, even with moving the bed against a wall and a railing. Another reason was my husband works shift work and his alarm goes off at 4am or he was coming home at 5am. My daughter used to sleep through it fine but then she stopped and would wake up. First night in her crib she slept 8hours. Second night 11hours. I felt so rested after 2 days.

We leave for vacation where we have to share our bed, but when we get home, I plan to try to get him in the crib! He will he 8 months.

I stopped at 6.5 months and did some sleep training.  Neither of us were sleeping well together anymore

My little man is 7.5 and I tried to start sleeping training him about a month ago.  One night I woke up after an hour to check on him and the little turd was literally down in the crib.  So I've been a scared mama and haven't tried since.  I am sooo ready to get him out of the bed though!

I'm probably just gonna ride it out and see how it goes, so most likely until he's older than 2. I'm hoping soon I can leave him without worrying he'll crawl off the bed and then once he's down me and my boyfriend can have some us time
