Getting iron up on a vegetarian diet
I'm trying to get my iron back up since it's messing with my cycles and just general health, but I can't stand red meat. No matter how I cook it or what I mix it with I just don't like the taste and texture. I do eat chicken and a lot of fish, but I feel like it's not enough. I was told not to eat spinach because it actually hinders the absorption. I just started taking a supplement with orange juice every morning, but some days I forget due to a busy work life, even when I have an alarm, I just get so busy and distracted; and I need other ways to boost iron.
