Does anyone like there job?

I dred my career path. I do cosmetology. I got fired from my last salon, and the people I worked with were the meanest lady's I've ever met. The guest were rude. I'm ready to be happier at work. If you love your job tell me what you do, or if you do hair tell me your experience please.

I love my job!

I have a degree in early childhood education and worked in a daycare for 3 years, but it was full of stress and negativity. I got really depressed this year while TTC and working full time at this daycare.

I finally put my foot down, as much as I love kids, this place was not right! So I quit and I am on day 3 of my new Nanny job!

I've been a nanny before and loved it till the children out grew me. And now I'm back! Everything is perfect. The hours, less kids, more one on one. I feel like I can make a difference

I love my job. I'm a swimming teacher, ranging from babies classes to squad levels. ❤️ It's good pay, good hours and it's something I adore - I've been swimming my entire life and it feels only natural to pass on my experience to others.

I love my job. I am currently working as an assistant manager for Walls Bargain Center (Newton Wall Company) and it's okay. Not really something I want to spend the rest of my life doing. I'm not a retail person. A good friend of mine heard my struggle and introduced me to Plexus. So I am also now a Plexus ambassador and let me tell you. This is the fins "job" I have ever had or even heard of. Plexus is a great company to work for and to be able to work your own hours whenever and wherever and still make a full time income. It's amazing. I love plexus. Okay. So, I have 2 forms of advice.

If you are wanting to stay in the hair industry, promote yourself!! Put yourself out there. There are other salons, and more clients. Be the best stylist you can, and the clientele you want will follow. You will only receive a good clientele if you gave a good attitude. Your clientele mirrors you. Take classes, go to hair shows, and find a mentor. Maybe talk to your old hairstylist and see if you can shadow her for a day or so.

If you are wanting to change careers, it's never too late. I am now working for a financial institution and I couldn't be happier. I loved doing hair, and I still do hair on the side,  but I didn't have clientele or the drive. I kept getting turned down at every salon I applied for, and it finally just took a toll and I decided to switch careers.
