False labor??🤔

Yesterday at 38 weeks 5 days my husband and i had sex to get baby moving for labour. I wiped that day and had discharge that looked like my mucus plug without blood tho. After i took a shower n got ready to go out to a family party, well i started having lower back pains. Never had them before so i thought i was in early labour. The pain went away after 4 or 5 hrs later. Can i be in early labour or was just false alarm?
