20% always!!! I've worked in the industry not tipping is fucked. A tatto may seem expensive but you don't realize a majority of that goes to the shop and supplies.

E.g a $200 will either get a $40 tip (20%) or a $50 tip (making the total $250).

Depends on the work, I've given $20 or $10 and a case of beer. So I guess it also depends on your artist. My artist likes beer 😂
