Scheduled c section for the 13th of July. Can't wait to meet my little man. Scared of getting cut open tho :/ any advice??

I had a c section 2 days ago and was so nervous like you, I was actually surprised at how little I felt during the section, yes there was some pressure but nothing like I imagined and no pain at all, baby was here within 5 minutes and after that I wasn't even thinking about what they were doing behind that screen! You will be very sore afterwards but as long as you take it easy and have regular pain meds you'll be fine:)

I have csection same day july 13th I hope for day later but isn't possible . this will be my second one in my experience it wasn't bad st all. It scared me was epidural in my back after they put it I didn't feel a thing . I got very impatient and a lot anxiety while they were cutting me I was just waiting to hear her crying so I know she will be ok. It's sucks they need to clean her and check it first and after 9 months of carrying the baby you are the last one to see her in the room. I did feel the pressure and my doctor let me know that was her playing with my intestines which everyone in the room find hilarious but I seriously was thinking get done already I was feeling like I need to pop it will be very embarrassing if that would happen. When anesthesia is off you will feel extremely cold like nothing helps you to keep warm at my hospital they give you heat blanket might take 10 mn for you to start feeling comfortable. If the nurse offer you medication but at the moment you don't feel pain take it . Don't wait until pain comes because it will take time for the mess to work and just tynelo so it won't hurt the baby if you breastfeed. Btw my csection it's at 10am

Be strong , cause after you recover they push on your stomach for the first 24 hours and its painful if you have a high pain tolerance. Me I'm on my 2nd csecstion on July 31st and I am still terrified even when you get home you can't do nothing at all but care for the Little baby it sucks and its hard to sleep comfortable but after the third week the pain gets better. Just keeping it truthful, not trying to scare you or anything I just wish I had someone who kept it real with me at first.
