Engaged to someone in the oilfield

Has anyone been married or engaged or in a relationship with someone in the oilfield. My fiancè has been gone for 2 months and he only gets 1 week off and that one week off he has coming up is birthday and we have to go house hunting for a house. How do y'all deal with your man being gone? (Yes I do I have my own life I do go to school and work) by the way I hear this alot but do oilfield workers cheat?
