Does your vagina sometimes hurt during or after sex?

For me sex feels great when my boyfriend and I first get into it. I'm usually able to orgasm once or twice but it always seems like after that I'm kinda sore. And the longer we have sex the more it hurts. It's somewhat painful but also uncomfortable. I've been to my gynecologist and told her sex is painful but nothing was wrong. And it's even more painful if he goes fast. After sex my vagina doesn't hurt though. Does this happen to anyone else?
