So I'm currently 6 weeks pregnant with my 5th baby. My husband and I are thrilled and hoping for a boy since we have 4 girls. Unfortunately, we've opted not to share with many people people of the negativity that will follow. I don't understand why people are so opinionated on how many children someone should have! We're blessed to have had 4 previous pregnancies and 4 healthy daughters. We're thrilled to be adding another to our already big family and we're actually hoping for twins! We have our own place and don't rely on anyone for anything. But our families thinks we should've stopped at 3 because "kids are expensive" and blah blah blah. My husband works for Jet Blue and I'm a makeup artist and hairstylist with very steady clientele. We don't have everything we want, but we surely don't lack anything we need. I don't plan to share with my mother, hopefully, until we can find out the gender (praying it's a boy and that'll ease the tension). Is anyone else dealing with this?
