Of course I strongly feel that all healthcare should be free, but especially birth control. 1. Birth control, obviously, helps prevent and drastically reduce unplanned pregnancies. Having access to it decreases the number of teen pregnancies and terminations. 2. When access to birth control is easy and affordable our underprivileged women thrive. Statistics show that they're at a greater risk of pregnancy/STI/giving birth. Yes yes yes! Having sex is not some little privilege that only married people get to have. It's literally a right. Everyone is going to do it regardless, so instead of risking some girl having an unwanted pregnancy, her BC should be provided for. But then again, I think that all medicine be free, regardless

I may have an unpopular opinion, but I'm gonna throw it out there anyway. No, birth control is a luxury, not a necessity. It's no big surprise that sex causes pregnancy. If you're not ready for that kind of responsibilty, then you should either pay to be protected, or abstain from it all together.

No. Sex is not a NEED. Food is a need and everyone doesn't have access to that. Water is a need and everyone doesn't have access to that, etc. Once everyone has access to NEEDS then we should discuss people having access to recreational things. Yes. Let's extend it beyond the personal level though. It's important for society. More control over births mean more women in the workforce, less dependence on social programs, and a generally better off population.

If taxes go towards it, as in healthcare, then yes. In the long run it keeps us from as much spending on welfare, which so many on here hate to do, prevents teen pregnancy to an extent, bc helps with other medical conditions and issues, and honestly if viagra can get covered, birth control should be covered too .

Absolutely not. If you are not financially able to buy your own birth control (of any kind), then you are not ready to have sex. I have no sympathy for women who choose to have sex and end up getting pregnant because they were careless and irresponsible.

Everyone has the right to health care and BC is apart of health care. BC also has more benefits than just preventing babies. It helps treat the symptoms of endometriosis, acne, severe cramps, regulates periods, etc.
