Is 2 weeks too young to start partying?? 😂

My baby is due on the July 23.  My bestie is having her baby shower on Aug 6th.  If my baby comes on her due date she'll be 2 weeks by my friends baby shower.  Maybe even younger if she's overdue.  I was thinking, baby wear her so not many people can touch her? I don't really want to bubble her either.  Would you take your newborn?  I really want to be there for my friend.

I took my son out when he was about 2 weeks old. I wore him and didn't let anybody touch him. Other times I took him in his car seat and also didn't let anybody touch him, I'd keep him covered with a car seat canopy

If you feel fine, then i dont see a reason why not. Just make sure people are not touching her face, hands and stuff. Also, no sick people around. Last year my friend had a baby shower and someone with a stomach flu showed up. "Its clearing" she said to defend herself. And dont be afraid to speak and say no. Best of luck to you 😊😈

I don't see why you can't take her. Just make sure you are up for it. Exhaustion is hard to deal with.

Keep the canopy on the car seat! I'm sure quite a few people will know you so they'll know you just had a baby. With that being said, some people do NOT understand they need to keep away from a newborn or wash their hands .. my best friend had her baby in Jan and her mother in law started grabbing Ava in the hospital without even washing her hands .... ahh! So be prepared to tell people No :)

If you feel good, go for it! And baby wearing is a great idea! It'll keep your loved one safe from germs from others and they'll feel safe. I did that and my boy slept the whole time I was wearing him.
