I started taking this birth control in 2012, took it for about a year, and then I got back on it last month. I was told I could start it the day after I ended my last period, which happened to be the day I got my prescription. So I've been taking it for about two weeks now, and I've started spotting and getting period symptoms, but I'm not supposed to start my period for another 2 weeks. Before, when I was on this, I never had this happen. Not only is there spotting, but I'm experiencing dryness and itchiness that wasn't present before.

Has anyone had any experiences similar to this on their pill? It's low dosage, and I've read that they sometimes have strange side effects, but I've never experienced them before and I'm on the same exact birth control.
