40+1 here. I've also had BH for a long while now. And a big baby, so no one thought I would make it to 40 weeks. Midwife did a membrane sweep yesterday & I lost my mucus plug last night, with contractions getting more painful. So hopefully soon!!

Yay. Made it to 40 weeks. Been having BH since 14 weeks and figured she be a early baby. I guess not. Had an appointment but my midwifes don't check for dilation until in labor and won't do a membrane sweep until 41 weeks. So I guess I have to wait another week until we start doing some form of natural intervention. 😂😭 I do hope she comes soon :) anybody else still waiting and are either on their due date or past it now?

Today is my due date! My dr checked me and I'm 1cm and already offered to induce and do a sweep but I'm holding out until at least 41 weeks. It's so hard to stick to your guns when your dr would have induced at 39 weeks only because I live 30 min from the hospital 😳. I'm thinking maybe I'd have been better off with a midwife ect so at least I was a little more on the same page with them.

Yes I agree it makes no sense. Said that if I wanted to be able to 'plan' the arrival. It's crazy the reasons they induce in my opinion. I wish Drs would encourage their patients to only induce if medically necessary...

Why would living 30 minutes away make him want to induce you. That makes no sense. I live 1-1 1/2 hours away from the birthing center and they are still letting me go to 42+0 before I need to induced at the hospital next door.
I'm 39 weeks and 4cm dilated!! My verbiage is still thick but my doctor doesn't want to admit me! So I'm waiting on labor to happen on its own... so I'm over here like... ⏳👀

Lol. I was like what is a verbiage. :) I bet. I'm glad my office doesn't do cervical checks but at the same time I'm really curious if there is any dilation.

I'm a day overdue and dying to meet my little girl but she's just way to comfy. Had a sweep yesterday on my due date and have another one booked for Saturday but hopefully she's here before Saturday🤞🏽

This babies are being so difficult. I had my first born at 39w6d (induction but still) that means I have officially been pregnant longer this time. 😭😭 I kind of wished they did a sweep but noo. Have to wait until next Thursday. Crossing my fingers for you.
