No baby is making me depressed..

I went in to L&D; on Monday due to bleeding and I was told I was almost 3cm dilated. I was contracting, but not strong enough to progress my dilation. I had a doctors appointment yesterday and my doctor was just a complete ass. He told me at my 36 week appointment that if I'm at least 1cm dilated by 39 weeks, he'd induce me. Well, he checked me again and told me that I was barely 1cm dilated. Yes because that makes total sense. I just un-dilated in two days. I asked about getting induced and he told me there's nothing he can do for me until my water breaks. He told me to go home and break my water then I'll have my baby. I can't believe he told me to lift couches to break my water. This is so discouraging. I'm due in 5 days and I just want my baby in my arms already. Some women have to have their water broke by a doctor. Idk what to do man. I just give up😒😒
