competition ?

Lord knows how much I love my mother in law and we would do anything for her but I feel like I'm in competition with her when it comes to her son. He's the ONLY boy and she still thinks of him as her little boy which I have no problem with but I just wish she respect the fact that he's married with 2 kids now. The attention she was getting before will be limited now because he has a family of his own. It's like anything I suggest towards him or anything I need him to do, changes when mama says something. Am I over exaggerating ?
