I can't rave enough about our local library. They have such awesome children programs! They have Infant Story Time every Wednesday and it is the highlight of our week. They also encourage the "1000 books before kindergarten" challenge for infants too. If you haven't yet, I strongly encourage you check out what your library offers.

Lee is already approaching 300 books. We have tracked every single one in a journal. We write the date, the book, who read it to him, and how many times it's been read. We don't count single-word block books - although we do read those to him too. They are mostly golden books, Dr Seuss, Winnie the Pooh and Jim Henson books.

This was from when we passed in his first 100-book log. He had to dress up for the occasion of course! There is a bow-tie hiding under that double chin!

He was born the same day as A.A. Milne (National Winnie the Pooh Day) January 18th!
