Wet dream in dogs??

Do male dogs have wet dreams? I have noticed that my male dog has been going to town on the air lately. He literally goes till he brings himself to climax and cums everywhere. I often have to wash his bed so he doesn't lay in it and so my other animals don't get in it. I just don't know if it's normal? It's hilarious, but odd as well. Lol

Yup. They definitely do. As to why you don't have your dog neutered ... Hopefully it's just cuz he's too young :)

I'm a vet. Yes it's perfectly normal. I highly doubt he's having wet dreams though. Animals don't have sex for pleasure (some do, but not dogs)- it's completely biological and hormonal. If he's not castrated (since he's actually ejaculating I'm assuming he's not fixed) it's a lot more common for dogs to have urges to reproduce (it's similar to urges we have but it's not for pleasure, but for reproduction purposes). It's totally normal for animals to hump things- many will have a specific pillow or other object they use as well. If it's something you're concerned about then bring them to the vet. The only way to stop the ejaculation is to have him castrated because that'll stop sperm production. It'll also probably reduce or even stop the jumping as well.

My male dog never did that but he did used to hump EVERYTHING 🙈 my parents said he ejaculated a few times but I was never around him then.
