How can I know if my baby is going to have blue eyes ?

Hello mommies, my mom and the nurse who delivered my baby girl said she was going to have light eyes (I don't want to get my hopes up) I have green eyes and my husband as well. 
Anyways my question is, does mommies who have babies with blue eyes can you show me a pic of when your baby was a newborn till the time his/hers eyes change color ?

Eye color doesn't just depend on you and your spouse, it also depends on your parents, grandparents, etc. because that is just how genes work. There really is no way to tell what color your baby's eyes with be. My eyes and my dad's eyes are brown, my mom's eyes are hazel, and my siblings all have blue, hazel, or brown eyes. Besides, almost all babies are born with blue eyes. Sometimes their eyes change to their permanent color within a few hours, and for some kids, they don't reach their true eye color for a year or two after they've been born.

I have green eyes brown hair and my husband has brown eyes and brown hair. Figured our daughter would have brown or at least hazel eyes and dark hair    Nope she has blue eyes and is blonde    
Granted all my siblings and my mom have blonde hair and blue eyes so it all depends. Genetics are funny
