Sex after miscarriage?

I had a miscarriage 5 days ago (Sunday). I was 6weeks. I was told by my doctor that most women would wait until their next cycle to have sex. I have had sex today as my bleeding has stopped and felt emotionally and physically ready to have sex again. 
Did you have sex straight after an early miscarriage?

I waited until I had stopped bleeding . We also used condom until I had my first period after . Some say you Can start trying right away , I wanted to want one cycle in order to track things and make sure I was healed enough .

I waited two weeks miscarried at almost 8 weeks and the first time we had sex it hurt my Cervix was still sore
