I was sore for a while because I over produced and got so full that it was hard for baby to latch properly. But over time it got better and better and now doesn't hurt at all. Soooo glad I roughed it out!

It only hurt for me when my baby didn't latch right. In that case, you unlatch and try again. But I never had sore nipples or anything.

it doesn't hurt in general it can just hurt sometimes, like with improper latch or at first when your nipples aren't use to it. but it's WORTH IT:) any pain stops completely

First few wks both hurt but once your milk settles and you don't get engorged it gets better.
