I want to know what you ladies do... if you get your period in the evening, do you count it as your first day?!

So (TMI) a lot of my periods begin in the evening or right before bed. I count that as 'day one' sometimes, but then it extends my period that extra day and I'm not completely sure on how to log it. Has this ever happened to you? I mean, I'm SURE it has, but what do you choose to consider it as? Day one? Or just count the following morning as day one?

I've read that it's the day you actually bleed red. No pink or brown spotting.  I've always entered pink as the start of my period, guess i was wrong.  Explains why my apps have a pink or brown spotting tab
