Anyone else work opposite shifts from their significant other and TTC?
Sorry I just have to vent- I'm a night shift nurse and my hubby works a normal 9-5 so by the time he comes home from work (530 or so) I pretty much have to leave for work (by 6pm) with barely any time for us to try. It's one thing when you do a quickie for fun, quite another to do it under time and the pressure of really wanting to get pregnant. Of course this month is the first time trying an OPK and I finally got two dark lines today and have to work tomorrow night too, so my whole ovulation window I'm either at work or have to sleep. We will try tomorrow in the morning when I get off work but it sucks to be super tired or under time constraint pressure. I know other couples have it worse (like military) and see their spouse less than I do, but it's still frustrating. And no, I can't switch to day shift without taking a major pay cut I can't afford.
