I have GD and have been taking my meds, however, I have to admit I'm mostly uncontrolled. My Dr has been playing with my dosage and I'm now scheduled to have my baby a month early due to his weight. He was originally due aug 2 and will be born on July 12 via c-section expecting to weigh a little over 10lbs. I know that the weight could be off, but he's been consistently weighing 3+ weeks ahead for a while now-since my diagnoses around 5mo.

My concern and question goes out to moms who have delivered their baby with GD. Were you controlled/uncontrolled? If you were uncontrolled- was your baby okay at birth? My dr recommended I NOT take my meds the night before as they usually make my fasting levels slightly lower (under or at 70). I feel like I've run out of time to perfect and regulate my levels. Im scared that my baby's levels will drop and they'll take him away from us after birth for regulation.
