Hi y'all.. 3 days ago I visited my OB due to no period for 87 days. This is my first ever long cycle in my history. Lol.. Done ultrasound and everything looks normal. No any cyst growth, ovary clear and no signs of any period awaiting to release. She don't want to put me on medicine to get my period back as she said that is not my natural period and will not help me to regulate my period as well. She said I have nothing to worry about if I have a long cycle this time, that's because I have a very irregular cycle. Before heading to OB, I have a few blood spot like 2 times whenever I pee, but not enough to put a pad. She put me on metformin 500mg. Explained everything about it and the possible side effects so suggested me to take it atleast half hour before my lunch. I plan to take it with vitex but I think I should give it sometimes to see how the metformin will works alone. Doctor required me to take it for 3 months. Hope to have a bfp soon. Strongly recommended to me to take metformin together with healthy diets and exercise due to my hormal imbalance. My weigh/BMI is normal. Anyone appreciate if you can share your experience taking metformin and how long you get pregnant?
