Fertility, sadness, iud mishap
So long story short, I have had a tough two years. Doctors don't tend to always take my concerns seriously, since my symptoms are not always typical. This has resulted in a preterm birth 30 weeks, retained placenta discovered 6 weeks post-partum, and an iud that floated through my pelvis for over a year.
I finally found a dr who listened to my concerns and after two ultrasounds and an X-ray did laparoscopic surgery to remove a perforated iud. My sadness is that he found out that my uterus has so much scar tissue it seems conceiving again is very very unlikely even with multiple surgeries. Anyone had anything similar? How did you cope? Right now I'm trying to recover and feel so raw.
