My mum hasn't come to see my daughter that is almost 11 WEEKS old!! 
She was in the room for my labour & nothing happened after that to make her act like this... I continue to invite her & send videos & photos & tell her it's upsetting that she hasn't been to visit ect she lives only 20 mins away... 
I'm so hurt... this isn't working for me so I dunno what to so I dunno what to do😔

I have had his happen with my mom. I would cut ties now...save you and the child from the heartache.

I have been dealing with this from my mother for 12 years. She is full of empty promises and it sucks now my boys are old enough now to notice and start asking questions about why Nana isn't around for events and programs and activities. Why she makes promises and don't follow through. That isn't something they should have ever had to experience and it is sad and breaks my heart, and theirs!

My mother in law has met my daughter or my niece and they were born 2 months apart and now they're both over a year. I don't even bother with her anymore.  Her loss

I would call her and tell her that you cannot believe she didn't make time to go meet her grandchild. It must be a very good reason, otherwise I would be incredibly pissed.
