What hip do you hold your baby on? And your dominant hand?

I almost always carry my son on my left hip, occasionally on my right hip. I'm right handed. I need my dominant hand free to do everything else while I'm holding him

I don't have my own baby, but I do hold plenty of babies. I switch between hips depending on what I'm doing. I'm ambidextrous and I use different hands as my dominant hand depending on what I'm doing. I put the baby on my non-dominant handed hip. If I'm writing I'll have the baby on my left hip as I write with my right hand. But when doing most other things I'll have the baby on my right hip as I use my left hand for most other things.

It depends. My larger child I hold on my left but my smaller I hold on my right. I'm ambidextrous so it doesn't really affect my ability to complete tasks.

I read a article that said 70-85% of women hold their babies on their left hip. So I was wondering if that had to do with which hand is your dominant. In my case I write with my right hand but all physical things I tend to use my left hand. So I'm technically right handed but also hold my baby on my right hip.
