Today me and my boyfriend were out at the park and a lady asked us how long we'd been together. We told her it'll be two years this coming October and she sounded surprised that we'd been together so long. I've heard a lot of people who spent years dating before they tied the knot and then I've heard of couples who've only spent months together before getting married.

What's the shortest time you've heard a couple date before getting married? The longest? The shortest I've heard has been 4 months and the longest is probably about 8 years.
