Weight loss tips?

Okay so I've tried apple cider vinegar pills, I've tried not eating, I've tried drinking more water and it has done nothing. Am I supposed to diet though?! I want to be thick and keep what little booty I have left but I'd like to tone my tummy and if possible, get a bigger booty. I have acl surgery and I'm only 3 months post op but I'm trying everything I can (elliptical/weighted squats mostly). I wanna be confident in a bikini for once :( I see these people on insta being like "I stopped dieting and gave in to my cravings" and this and that. Like is it just me? I legit eat
